My Evolution in Electronic Literacy

 Nowadays the use of electronic tools such as computers, internet and cell phones, have become very important in our life. Electronic Literacy is helpful for many aspects for example knowledge, knowing new people, communication, working, school or simply to spent time. For this reason in my life the electronic tools has had huge impact. Do you want to know how, or why? I just can say that Electronic Literacy has been necessary for many aspects in my life.

The beginning the use of electronic tools in my life was when I was 8 or 9 years old, I was in elementary school and I took a computer science class. It was very funny because it only was games, and I could learn how to use the word software and the bases of internet. This course was very practical, because I learnt how search information, write some documents; in addition I used it to write letters, messages for my friends or family. When I started to use the computer I did not know the importance that it would have in the next years in my life.

Nowadays electronic literacy has influenced in my education, especially in my career. Since I started study ELT it was needed to manage different electronic resources. Most of teachers ask us to use at least internet, for example in listening and speaking class we had to practice with audio, videos, movies, or search any information. During my career I have used different electronic tools such as online dictionary, practicing any skill, uploading exercises, using and creating blogs, all those elements were vital to improve my English. In this career is helpful to use the electronic tools to make presentation or have communication among native speakers for this I use the messenger, facebook, hotmail or another social page which ones contributed to improve my English Language.

As a future teacher I would like to look for tools that improve the L2. As teachers it is important to use more interesting and dynamic activities instead of keeping traditional classes. One or two months ago I watched a program about the use of new technologies, one of these technologies was the electronic board, and it was useful for student who interacted with their knowledge and activities and it is easier to use because it is touchable; however another electronics tools are the activities through internet such as videos, movies, conversation clubs, etc., because I already know that surfing on internet we can find helpful webpage, platforms, virtual libraries and online course. Electronic Literacy will be useful to teach another language.

As a conclusion Electronic Literacy has become a vast effect in our days, because it has been important for improve our knowledge, in my case my English. The use of these tools has been useful to communicate with my family, friends and practicing any skills or simply to spent time. The use of this tools is important to use since you was a child; because, of it has many benefits for school, life. You can learn something about any topic or whatever you like to search any information, know about something. You have to know that a person literate is not who is able to write or read, if not who know use electronic tools.

Who am I?

Who I am? I am Aimee Noyolitzi Huerta Ramos. I was born in January 8, 1989 in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas, but I have lived in Aguascalientes since I was a child. In all this time i have realized about the important things about myself, such as strengths, weakness, likes and dislikes. Also in these lines I am going to talk about the most important people in my life.




The most important thing in my life is my family. I am sure that without them I wouldn´t be here. My family is integrated by five people, my dad Jose Huerta, my mom Aimee Ramos, my sister Joselyn, my brother Josue and me. My parents are teachers for this reason I want to be teacher. They are the biggest support for me, they have been with me in any moment, helping me, listen to me, whatever thing or decision I choose they are here. For that reason my family is the most important for me and I cannot live without them.



Other aspects about me are my strengths and weakness. All of them are the ingredient that makes you special. Some of my strengths are my perseverance, my patient, and I love to help other people, among others, but also I have weakness which make my personality unique, some of them are that sometime I feel insecure or I trust a lot in people who sometimes disappoint me, or for me is hard say no to other people. All of these things are the aspects that make my personality unique.



Mi likes and dislikes are significant in my personality. These things talk a lot about me. Some of my likes are watching movies, reading, chocolate, and spent time with my family and friends. But something I do not like, such as I used to desperate when something is not like i have imagine, or somebody wake up me or that people are unpunctual, but the thing that I hate is the lies or false people. These aspects talk about my personality; these things say how I am.



As a conclusion my life maybe is not perfect, but I like it the way it is. I do not want to change anything about it. I cannot imagine my life without my family and my friends. My qualities and flows make me be the way I am. I love my family, friends and myself.
