MOVIE REVIEW

•Name of the film: 1973
•Director: Antonio Isordia
•Awards: Best director in the 20th international festival and best film and documentary
•Imaginative title: Just a Dream
•Type of film: drama
•Protagonist: Rodolfo, Maria Fernanda and Alejandro

This documentary shows us a way of living different to ours. This film was about 3 young people, Rodolfo, Mafer and Alejandro were born in Mexico City in 1973. They fought for achieve their own dreams, but they could not. They show us their life, and how they faced their problems. This documentary involves a lot of feelings such as passion, sadness, happiness, frustration, anger and love. I recommend you to watch these 3 strong, cruel and real stories about these people who had to suffer a lot of problems in the 90s in Mexico City, which illustrate us a dark side of Mexican society, a reality that they lived at that time where the government, family even society affected their decisions; it is an opportunity to know the reality that happened and it may continues happening nowadays although society does not want to see it.
